Middlesbrough - Tottenham    +5.28

Soccer - England

With the last weeks draw with Manchester United, Middlesbrough have secured their stay in the English Premier League but Middlesbrough's season is all but over, though they will look to defend a good home record against a Tottenham side desperate to secure the three points and edge back into the UEFA Cup spots.

But Middlesbrough is one of the most inconsistent and hardest to predict team - failing to win against weaker and always ready to surprise much stronger opponents. That's why I'll skip from betting on the final outcome on this match and in my opinion the best choice for betting on this match is the number of goals.

Both teams are real goal machines. Middlesbrough have more than 75% of their so far played matches in the EPL with at least 3 goals. Tottenham on the other side have 18 from their last 20 matches with at least 3 goals.

So what should we expect on the match today? At least 3 goals definitely!

Ascoli - Reggina    +5.2
Sunday, April 29th, 2007 15:00
Soccer - Italy

Pick:  Reggina   Result: Not registered
Stake:  8/10   Odds:  1.65
Bookmaker:  Expekt   vCash: Yes

Last week we lost our money on Reggina, so now it's time to take our money back from the bookmakers.

Ascoli are going down to the Serie B, no mater how much they are trying to avoid that. It's too late and they know that, so they shouldn't fight so much against that. A team that has won only 3 matches in the 32 played rounds so far doesn't deserve to stay in the best Italian league.
Reggina on the other side are very solid team. After 33 rounds they are in the dangerous 18th place with only 31 points but we shouldn't get fooled by the position because they are here only because the 11 points ban before the season because of the match fixing scandal. With those 11 points they would have been in the middle of the table where they belong and not in the relegation zone.

Ascoli coach Nedo Sonetti will have a selection headache to contend with for this crucial tie. Experienced veterans Gianluca Pagliuca, Gaetano Fontana and Marco Delvecchio are all out injured, while defenders Matteo Melara and Paolo Foglio have picked up suspensions. Reggina on the other side will miss only Francesco Modesto.

Probable formations:
Ascoli 3-4-3:
Eleftheropoulos - Corallo, Di Biagio, Lombardi - Fini, Zanetti, Boudianski, Pesce - Guberti, Soncin, Bjelanovic
Reggina 3-4-2-1:
Campagnolo - Lanzaro, Lucarelli, Aronica - Mesto, Tognozzi, Tedesco, Nardini - Foggia, Amoruso - Bianchi

On five matches from the end and almost all of them very hard (away to Sampdoria and Empoli and at home against Chievo and Milan), this match is very important for Reggina and if they really want to stay in the league they should win matches like this one against Ascoli.

Palermo - Parma    +5
Sunday, April 22nd, 2007 15:00
Soccer - Italy

Pick:  X2   Result: Not registered
Stake:  5/10   Odds:  2.18
Bookmaker:  Nordicbet   vCash: Yes

A team that lost motivations will host a team that has a lot to fight for survival in the Serie A.
Palermo have won only four points in their last five matches, with four draws and one loss. Those results meant that they have started to lose their chances Champions League qualifying positions. For a team that once was on top of the League, this is major motivation killer and now they'll have to satisfy their self with a UEFA Cup position.
On the other side we have Parma, who are doing great in the last period. Since their coach was changed they have lost only once in the last nine matches. This Wednesday they showed that they're in good form by winning with 2:0 over Fiorentina. On 6 rounds from the end, Parma are on the 18th position with 30 points but with positive result today against Palermo they can get out of the relegation zone.

Probable formations:
Palermo 3-5-2:
Fontana - Zaccardo, Barzagli, Dellafiore - Cassani, Guana, Corini, Simplicio, Bresciano - Cavani, Caracciolo
Parma 4-3-3:
Bucci - Coly, Couto, Contini, Castellini - Parravicini, Cigarini, Dessena - Rossi, Budan, Gasbarroni

If both teams continue with their recent performances, Parma should be able to win at least a point away to Palermo

Rabotnicki - Vlazrimi    +8.64
Saturday, April 21st, 2007 16:00
Soccer - Other

Pick:  Rabotnicki (-2.5)   Result: 5:0
Stake:  9/10   Odds:  1.96
Bookmaker:  Pinnacle   vCash: Yes

Very wrong line.
Rabotnicki have new coach - the Serbian Dragoljub Bekvalac and they are out of their crisis.
Vlazrimi are the worst team of our league and just check their last 2 results:
Apr 18, 2007 First League Vlazrimi 0 - 5 Makedonija
Apr 15, 2007 First League Vardar 10 - 0 Vlazrimi

I expect the same trashing today because they will play against the strongest team in the league. The line should be at least -3.5

Pinnacle - now offering odds even for the Macedonian league

Reggina - Udinese    -5
Sunday, April 22nd, 2007 15:00
Soccer - Italy

Pick:  Reggina   Result: Not registered
Stake:  5/10   Odds:  2.10
Bookmaker:  Expekt   vCash: Yes

By looking at the table at this moment in the Italian Serie A, this pick does not look so realistic. Udinese placed on 8th place with 42 points will travel away to Reggina who are on the 16th position with 30 points.
But what do the facts say about this match?
Udinese still have chances for playing in the UEFA Cup next season, but that mission is not so easy. They are on 7 points behind Empoli and it's very big question if they are able to climb upper on the table and if they are interested at all for playing in the UEFA Cup next season?
Reggina on the other side will enter this match with big motivation. After 32 played matches, with 30 points they are on only one point above the relegation zone and they are in big danger. But do they really belong here? No! Because of the match-fixing scandal had 11 points deduced before the start of the season. So if you add the 11 points on their current account, than Reggina would be on only one point behind Udinese.
The Head to Head stats are also on Reggina's side because in the last 2 season Reggina won 3 and only 1 of their 4 mutual matches finished with a draw.

Probable formations:
Reggina 3-4-2-1
Campagnolo - Lanzaro, Lucarelli, Aronica - Mesto, Amerini, Tognozzi, Tedesco - Foggia - Amoruso, Bianchi
Udinese 3-5-2
De Sanctis - Zapotocny, Natali, Zapata - Motta, Pinzi, D'Agostino, Muntari, Dossena - Iaquinta, Di Natale

Reggina will go in this match with big motivation because they are in desperate need of points in the fight against relegation and with the help of their fans they are close to win all 3 points.

Manchester United - Sheffield United    +3.4
Tuesday, April 17th, 2007 20:00
Soccer - England

Pick:  Man Utd (-1.75)   Result: 2:0
Stake:  8/10   Odds:  1.85

Manchester United are on fire in the last period and why shouldn't we bet on them today?
In the last 7 days Man Utd played 2 matches and from those 2 matches they have fantastic record of 11 goals scored and only 2 conceded. Today they're playing against Sheffield United so why shouldn't we expect from them to continue with their great results against one of the weakest teams in the Premiership?
Chelsea are on only three points behind Manchester United and in the fight for the title both teams should go for maximum points on all matches until the end of the season. Especially on the matches like the one today against teams with great quality difference.
Sheffield United are having big problems in the fight against relegation this season. They are coming from a very important win over West Ham, other relegation candidates, but surely can't count on any points and they'll be leaving Manchester with empty hands.

Manchester United are having problems with their defense for the tonights match as Gary Neville, Nemanja Vidic, Mikael Silvestre and John O'Shea are out but Sheffield Utd will most probably not take advantage of this because their key strikers Hulse and Stead will most probably miss this match too.

The -1.75 on Manchester United is rather high handicap but after the excellent performances in the last week I expect from them to continue like that and they shouldn't have big problems of winning this match with more than 2 goals difference. That's why I would advise you to go with high stakes - 8 of 10 units on Manchester United (-1.75).

Good luck

Macedonia - 1st League

I think that there's no need of longer information. The best team in our league plays against the worst team. And there should be some natural disaster to stop Rabotnicki trashing Vlazrimi and I think that there will be no problem for Rabotnicki to beat this AH.
Rabotnicki have the best roster in our league and during the winter break they have strengthened the squad with some good players and they are even better now.
Vlazrimi are team with problems and they will be relegated this year. They had no money for preparations and new players so they only loaned some youngsters that were not needed in the stronger teams.
As I said under normal circumstances Rabotnicki should have no problem beating the -2 handicap but due to my "luck" in the last period I'm going with not so high stakes
Good luck

OK, I see that everyone is on the Under here and that's why the odds have change a little bit but I don agree completely. Maybe under other circumstances the Under would be good choice but not today.
First of all this is friendly match. Players are more relaxed and there's no pressure on them today. Macedonian NT is in the role of small favourite on this match and that could be positive because they will not defend. The coach Katanec is fan of the attacking formations and since he took over the players have more confidence and they are not affraid to attack.
Today Macedonia will start the match with 3 attackers: Pandev from Lazio, Naumovski from the Austrian Mattersburg and finally Stevica Ristic the best striker in the Macedonian league will get the chance for his debut.
Macedonia has good defensive line but for this match we have some problems with the defensive wings. Petrov and Vasoski are injured and the Popov brothers left the team because of family problems.
The Albanian team play great in front of their fans. Albanians give great support on their players and usually they are their 12th player. On this same stadium in Skadar, Albania managed to beat Russia with 3:2. So I excect good performance from them too and maybe they'll score too.
So why shouldn't we go on the Over 2 goals today? Like I said, it's only a friendly where the coaches will test many players so we should see an interesting match with some goals scored.
